Bryce A. Schmidt grew up in a small town in the mountains of Southwest Virginia prior to moving to Florida. He attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Honors in 1999. He then entered law school at the University of Florida and graduated in 2002.
During law school Bryce clerked for Peter A. Robertson & Associates, P.A. in Gainesville and also interned with General Master Stuart Suskin. Following graduation he joined McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver, P.A., one of the largest Workers’ Compensation defense firms in Florida, as an associate. At the McConnaughhay firm, Bryce represented many large employers, insurance carriers and servicing agents.
